WHAT IS A RIMLESS TOILET?
A rimless toilet is a toilet without the classic inner rim from which water is released from with each flush. Due to this design, the water flows in such a way that the entire inner surface of the toilet bowl is flushed with a smaller amount of water.
Types of rimless toilets:
- Back-to-wall: Discreet and neat in appearance, they are fixed to the surface of a supportive wall or item of furniture immediately behind it so that the pipework is not visible.
- Wall-hung: Without any visible supports, wall-hung toilets are suspended above the floor. They are a compact, sleek choice creating a contemporary feel in any bathroom.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF A RIMLESS TOILET?
As the practical advantages of rimless toilets becomes more apparent, the demand for them is increasing. They require minimal maintenance as with every flush inside the pan, the whole surface is sanitised. The shape also prevents splashing and drastically changs water consumption.
